  2. My colleague, Heather Rominger, recently wrote a short piece on the importance of putting effort into your dress appearance at work.  Her goal is to emphasize the importance of “dressing to impress” not only for the work environment but it’s psychological affects on your performance.  While she doesn’t delve too far into that, she does offer up some great suggestions for looking sharp and keeping up with corporate fashion trends.  Would you say that corporate fashion is vital to a successful career?

  14. Great blog here by one of our contract employees on the importance not just being a “task master” but more of a “solution architect.”  She speaks of her travels abroad and how certain values she learned from Thai monks help her professional life to this day, a great read for any fellow contractors out there!  I’ve been to my fair share of boring or seemingly irrelevant meetings.  What do you think?  Is “big ears” a good philosophy for such times?
