Program Manager needed in Houston, TX
Role Title: Program Manager
Role Description:
- Resource local to Houston is highly preferred
- Team member will support the Business Opportunity Manager in the identification, analysis, design, planning and implementation of business process improvement initiatives
- The Business Process Specialist (Business Analyst) will be required to demonstrate an understanding of the desired business results, as well as processes and be able to communicate, train and make presentations to individuals (internal customers) on the purpose, specifications, value and technical aspects of the new processes
- Participate in design, development and potentially implementation of business process and systems documentation
- Support Business Opportunity Manager in developing detailed work plans
- Document standards, procedures, process flows and maps, as well as other materials as needed
Required Experience:
- Manufacturing experience working in a business role at a refinery
- Leads, coaches, mentors and trains others in using established process improvement methodology
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules in client environment
- Be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by Program Manager or Business Opportunity Manager
- Experience working on a cross-functional team
- Ability to work virtually across the organization
- Interest and motivation to understand and deliver desired business results through people, work processes, and enabling tools
