1. SQL Developer opportunity in Indianapolis

    Role Title: SQL/.Net Developer

    Role Description:

    • SQL Developer/Programmer with experience in .NET responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of multiple in-house databases and reports using cutting edge technologies including Teradata RDBMS, MS SQL Server, BI Tools, and Web Technologies
    • Develop underlying data models and databases
    • Develop, manage, and maintain data dictionary and or metadata
    • Ensure compliance of standards and conventions in developing programs
    • Translate business requirements into software applications and models
    • Maintain and manage all versions of data models for production, testing and developing databases
    • Perform and execute data extraction, transformation and loading using ETL tools
    • Develop and manage reports using MS SSRS and Webfocus RS
    • Manage data interfaces between operations and financial systems
    • Code, debug, test, and support custom web applications
    • Work closely with members of the IT and data teams as well as other departments to gather requirements for tasks and projects
    • Participates in projects from initial conception through testing and completion
    • Learn and use new technologies to achieve future business objectives
    • Design and develop SQL procedures, ETL processes, and tune query performance

    Required Experience:

    • Ability to handle projects of all sizes and possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Must be well-organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well within a team
    • Strong foundation in RDBMS technologies, MS SQL Server, and have development experience
    • MS SQL SERVER
    • Data Warehouse/Data Modeling
    • Stored Procedures
    • T-SQL
    • MS SSIS/SSRS

    Preferred Experience:

    • Microsoft .NET programming languages (ASP, C#, VB)
    • Teradata RDBMS technologies
    • IBI Webfocus RS

    Education/Training:

    • College degree or equivalent work experience
