    Role Title: Database Administrator

    Role Description:

    • The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management
    • Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning
    • Database Administrators are also responsible for understanding , configuring, and managing database administration tools
    • Performance tuning and troubleshooting for database
    • Performs application database maintenance and provide technical assistance to the users
    • Manages database account access and database object changes
    • Ensures that monitoring and alerts are properly in place to meet database monitoring requirements
    • Performs application database and OS scripting
    • Reviews Information Protection compliance reports and notifications for individual databases and internal processes (including compliance updates and compliance set ups)
    • Performs data purging and data replication activities
    • Performs database recovery from logs, hot & cold backups, Export/Imports and Disaster Recovery
    • Performs database creation decommissioning and database updates/migrations to a higher/lower version or cross platform migrations
    • Also involved in database, schema and object refresh activities
    • Monitors and reports existing database Instance, Database, Server activities for CPU, Memory, Cache, Logs performance and recommends effective resource utilization/emergency recovery procedures
    • Provides Escalation Level 2 Technical 24x7 support
    • Performs Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery activities during Business Continuity Plan events
    • Plans, schedules, and implements operating system software installs and patches (including 3rd party tools) using change management and release management processes Education: Education and Experience equally evaluated for relevance

    Required Skills:

    • 5-7 years of experience (7-10 preferred)
    • Oracle 10g or better (11g preferred) on HPUX or Linux platform Experience building, maintaining, and tuning large transactional databases (preferably SAP related) Oracle RMAN, Dataguard, HA concepts, advanced backup/recovery, Disaster recovery
    • Advanced performance tuning (SQL, parameters, design) Database migrations (SQL to Oracle, HPUX or other Unix to Linux)
    • Looking for experienced DBA to build, maintain, and tune large transactional Oracle databases supporting our SAP and Ariba ERP systems
    • Must have someone with 24-hour support experience

  2. Apps Installation Specialist Need in NJ

    Role Title: Apps Installation Specialist

    Role Description:

    • Apps Installation Specialist (Oracle Fusion/eBusiness, PeopleSoft, Ariba, Siebel)
      Around six years of experience in end-to-end installation of one or more of the following apps and configuration of clustered environments for high availability, load balancing, disaster recovery and security
    • Oracle ebusiness Suite 12.x on RHEL and Solaris with IPv4/6; integration with PrintTask, AS OID & SSO, Oracle Portal, Discoverer, B2B integration, 3par Snaps: on RHEL and Solaris
    • Oracle Fusion Applications version 11.x with Oracle Fusion Middleware on RHEL
    • PeopleSoft 9.x and PeopleTools 8.x, Ariba 9.x, Siebel 8.x: on RHEL, Windows and Solaris
    • Must perform Operational Readiness Testing to ensure the correct working of the installation and fix any issues
    • Ability to author and deliver detailed installation and testing documents a must
    • Working knowledge of HW (servers, storage, networking and clustering) is required
    • Scripting skills to automate installation is a big plus
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot installation issues, working with other technical teams or vendor support is a must
