Business Analyst opportunity in Indianapolis, IN
Role Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible to solicit, define, and manage requirements for all IT projects in supporting the business functions

The focus will be on new system solutions, modifications to existing applications and processes, and system upgrades
-
Emphasis will be placed on seeking out process improvements and ways to maximum the investment of the existing environment, including applications, processes, and functional procedures
-
The Business Analyst will define the business requirements and technology-independent process and data models for technology solutions that meet the needs for various business areas and will bridge the gap between the business and the Information Technology teams
Required Skills:
-
3+ years of solid full life cycle Business Analyst experience
-
Solid requirements gathering experience and SME interview experience
-
Some experience in retail business including logistics, merchandizing, buying, POS, etc.

Proven experience to see projects from beginning to end including involvement with the testing process
Preferred Skills:
-
Knowledge of the WMS system by Swiss Log (WarehouseManager)
-
Knowledge of Buying and Merchandizing software (homegrown)
-
Knowledge of POS (Point Of Sale) software (homegrown)
-
Knowledge of Micros
